Hoppy Halloween!

A little while back I made a card with the center frog and promised to show you the rest of the stamps. I ran out of time. So I made this card today that utilized all of the 4 stamps in the set. I think they are SO cute! It is late, so I will share with you the products I used to make this card tomorrow. I hope you all had a safe & fun Halloween :-)

Addition - I got the card layout design from the sketch challenge yesterday (10/31) on SCS.

Ink - Black by CTMH
Cardstock - White Daisy & Black by CTMH

My two pink fairies in disguise...

Here are my Two Pink Fairies dressed up as a bumble bee and a cheetah girl! I thought they were too cute not to
share :-) We went to a neighborhood Halloween party yesterday afternoon and so they wanted to dress-up! My 7 year old put her own costume together, with NO help from me other than putting her hair up and a little make up. I think she did a FABULOUS job! (What you can't see are her cheetah shoes with hot pink trim...ohh la la!) Thanks for looking :-)

Ink - White Daisy & Black by CTMH
Cardstock - White & Purely Pomegranate by SU
Embellishments - Pomegranate stitched ribbon & Dimensionals by SU, misc. black & white gingham ribbon

Celebrating 10 Years...

I just thought I would share with my regular blog readers that today is my 10th wedding anniversary!!! And can you believe the weather here is the EXACT same as it was that day - cold, wet & rainy, unlike the beautiful Fall day I pictured. But they say rain brings good luck and I must say it has, because we made it to 10 years!!! There were times when I thought we wouldn't, but I am so proud of the fact that we did. I am looking forward to the next 10 years :-) We will be celebrating tonight by going out to one of our favorite places for dinner, while friends of ours watch our two pink fairies. I am really looking forward to it. We were also able to get away for an overnight getaway at the beginning of the month, so this will be our 2nd celebration. I hope all of you have a wonderful weekend!

Garden Whimsy

This card was also made to display at my Open House. Thanks again to my friend Elisabeth for letting me borrow her set! I am in love with this set now. I got the inspiration from another crafter at Splitcoast Stampers. My favorite part is the butterfly. I first stamped it in the blue, then on another piece of white cardstock I stamped it in pomegranate ink and then cut out just the wings. I just glued the bottom portion of it to the blue butterfly so that the wings would be 3 dimensional. I hope you like it!

*Ink - Not Quite Navy & Purely Pomegranate by SU
*Cardstock - Wild Wasabi & Purely Pomegranate by SU, Crystal Blue by CTMH
*Embellishments - Purely Pomegranate Stitched Ribbon by SU, Misc. rhinestone brad

Apple Cider Nugget Box

This was one of the door prizes yesterday for my Open House. I used Really Rust & Wild Wasabi ink for the paper around the nuggets and the Apple Cider paper by SU. The one neat thing about the belly band is that the larger patterned circle and the smaller green/rust patterned circle were punched from the designer paper and layered together and then placed on the scalloped punch. I was happy with how that worked out! I hope you like it too :-)

Stamps: Holiday Treats by Papertrey Ink

Ink: Really Rust & Wild Wasabi by SU

Pattern paper: Apple Cider designer paper by SU

Cardstock: Close To Cocoa by SU

Tools: CM Circle Punches, SU Scallop Punch

Misc: Avery labels for the Hershey Nuggets, Rectangle Tin from Papertrey Ink

Piggy Birthday!

Posted by Picasa

This card was inspired by todays card sketch challenge (SC145) on www.splitcoaststampers.com. I got this new CTMH stamp set last month and have been needing an excuse to use it. It is called Nursery Bash and it is so cute! It is hard to see in the picture, but there are stickles on top of the cupcakes, the white "paper" part of the cupcakes are done in the white Soufle pen and the noses are popped up with dimensionals by SU. (Click on photo to see the detail.) I also used the Happy Birthday sentiment from this stamp set for the inside of the card and colored it in with the matching markers. I hope you like it!

Click on the photo to see more detail of the tree. I hope you like it and thanks for looking!

Super Simple Thank You's!

Posted by Picasa

These cards are SUPER SIMPLE and were made for my daughter who just celebrated her 7th bday. I needed something quick and simple and these fit the bill. The card base are pre-printed DCWV pre-scored cards. Then I used the SU scallop punch and CM circle punch for the sentiment. The sentiment used is from Papertrey Ink. I hope you like them. Sometimes simple is best :-)

More To Adore Tote & Card Set

Edit - For some reason I can only post 4 photos at a time. I will post the other 3 cards from this set tomorrow.

Here is the tote & card set I made for my husbands grandmother as part of her 90th birthday present. I hope she likes it! Her name is Mary, so that is why I used the initial M for her cards. I used the More To Adore paper by CTMH for this set. The only stamping I did was the letter M and that was from The Works Alphabet by CTMH and Chocolate Ink by CTMH. The Chocolate flower is from Bazzill and the pink rhinestone brad is from MM. Thanks for looking!
