Razzle Dazzle Book Mark

 

This is another project we did at my recent open house. It is a book mark that fits on the corner of a page. We colored the image in with markers and then stamped the image. Hope you like it!

Circle Circus

 

This card was one of the make n' takes from my recent Open House to kick off the new catalog. I got the idea for this card from a demo publication we get each month. I loved making the patterned paper with it. The stamp set is the NEW Circle Circus stamp set.

Scrapbook Album Class or Class by Mail!

You are invited to a 12x12 Scrapbook Album in an Evening Class!

Date - July 24th
Time - 7:00 PM - 10:00 PM

Come and complete an entire album in ONE evening!!! All you will need to do is add your photos at a later date.

The fee for this class is $50 and $45 for those of you in my hostess club.

You will leave with 20 completed scrapbook pages ready for your photos!

You may also purchase one of our 12x12 albums and page protectors for 20% off if you take this class.

You will need to pre-pay for this class by Wednesday, July 15th AND choose the scrapbook them of your choice on pg. 164-167 (or go to my website to view the kits at www.kimsheller.stampinup.net). Each kit retails for $19.95, so you can see this class is a VALUE since you get TWO of these kits.

To complete this class you will be given TWO sets of the Simply Scrappin' Kits of your choice, plus other items.

The only items you will need to bring with you is a 12x12 paper cutter and adhesive.

Happy Mother's Day!

Teacher Gift

This week was Teacher Appreciation Week at my oldest daughters school, so this is what I made for her 2nd grade teacher! I hope she likes it! I made the cards plain so that she could use them for school or personal use. The Desk Top Organizer box was a template I purchased from Papertrey Ink (www.papertreyink.com). I have had this stamp set (Pocket Silhouettes) for a while now and FINALLY got to ink it today! It is such a nice simple set, so I decided to make a very simple card with it. I hope you like it! The photo is kind of blurry, not sure why and it is very hard to see the embossed lines above & below the ribbon, but if you click on the image you may be able to see it.

I loved making this card! I got part of the idea from SCS with the red rhinestones on the tree. I think the bling makes it. I also used the Scor-Pal to create the raised lines to frame the ribbon. And I must stay the SU! Kraft cardstock is my favorite!!!

Star Tag

 

 

I got these kraft stars from the CKC Convention this past August. I liked them because they are flat on the back, so I thought they would make great gift toppers. I took Real Red (SU!) ink and sponged the ink onto the front of the star and then on the other side made the to/from tag. My original thought was to cover the front of the stars with patterned paper, but that did not go over too well, so I went with the ink instead.

My new favorite find...

 

 

So I still have not crafted anything lately, but here is one of my new finds for ribbon. I just LOVE it!!! I found this at www.stampingbella.com. I believe it comes in blue as well, but PINK is my favorite color, so of course I HAD to get that one. This bag holds a TON of ribbon and I highly recommend picking one up. It saves SO much room without having the ribbon on cardboard cards or the rolls they come on. Let me know if you get one too and what color you pick :-)

Christmas in July!

 

I made this card back in January. My friends and I have a Christmas card challenge and each month we make 10 or so cards so by October we are done. We swap a card with everyone too so we get new fresh ideas from each other as well. Like I said, I made this back in January and now forget most of the products I used. However, the stamp set that was used is called Big on Christmas from Stampin' Up.
