An angel here on earth did something VERY special for me & my husband. So this is a card I made for her to let her know how much it meant to us. The sentiment on the front says..."friendship is shelter from life's little storms" and the inside verse says..."Just wanted to thank you with all my heart." She is such a very special person and deserved a special card.

Posted by Picasa

I was expecting it to be COLD here in Pennsylvania today, but guess what? it is going to be 70 degrees!!! But anyway I wanted to wish all of my faithful blog readers a WONDERFUL Thanksgiving! I hope you all have a blessed day :-)

I got 2 new Bellas (from yesterday and had to immediately make the above card. I got the Snowbunnybella and Cupcakeabella, so you will be seeing her soon as well!

For this card I used the snowflake cuttlebug embossing folder and if you click on the photo you may see where I rubed the white ink pad across the snowflakes. I have been neglecting that little machine so decided to pull it out.

Here is the list of other products used:
Stamps: Snowbunnybella, Papertrey Ink (used sentiment from the Holiday Treats set) and Itty Bitty Backgrounds from SU.
Ink: Black Stazon
Patterned Paper: Fall Flowers (stripes) from SU

And more...

Here are a couple more cards made with the Happy Me Level 3 Hostess Simply Scrappin' Kit. This has been so much fun! I am making these cards along with matching totes (as soon as the cards are completed) as teacher gifts. (I may have said that in an earlier post.) I am having so much fun with this and LOVING the color combo. I hope you are enjoying them as well. If you have this kit feel free to CASE. They are SO quck & easy to make! Again the only add'l products used were double stitched coordinating ribbon, paper piercer and white gel pen.

STAY TUNED...I may be offering a class that uses these designs as my workshop in January! I am waiting to see the NEW Simply Scrappin' Kits that will be offered in the NEW Spring/Summer collection. I am hoping they bring this kit to the collection so that you ALL can purchase it and have as much FUN as I am having!!!

Have a GREAT day :-)

Happy Me Simply Scrappin' Kit

I am in LOVE with this kit and am in the process of making 30 cards out of 1/2 the kit. This is the first one...
I am planning on making 5 totes and putting 6 cards and a matching pen inside each as teacher/hostess gifts this year. The only additional products I used for this card outside of the kit was the white brads & white gel pen for the center of the pomegrante small flower. Thanks for looking!
