Baroque Motif One Sheet Wonder Workshop

This past Friday night I went to my friend/upline's One Sheet Wonder Workshop. We made these adorable totes, 6 cards w/ stamped envelopes and matching pen. It was so much fun that I made one on Saturday night too for my husband's grandmother that celebrated her 90th birthday today. I will share that set with you tomorrow. I just love these colors together and I hope you do too. I can tell these are going to be addicting to make especially with the holidays around the corner.

Thanks for looking! --Kim

"Very Merry" Christmas Challenge Card

This topper card was created for a challenge my girlfriends and I are doing together. Since January we have been creating 10 cards a month and this is my card that was due in July (just a little late). We swap with each person in the challenge and then keep the rest. So I will be making 9 more of these! I just love this new stamp set called Big Celebrations by SU! (The photo does not do this card justice - you can't see all the glitz on the star, ribbon around the tree and the ornaments & tree skirt. The ornaments have lots of stickles on them to look like sparkly clear glass balls.) Enjoy :-)

Stamps - Big Celebrations and Short & Sweet by SU
Ink - Black Stazon
Markers - Cranberry & Sunny Yellow by CTMH & Certainly Celery by SU
Patterned Paper - Polka Dots by Colorbok
Cardstock - Textured Cardstock by Bazzill, White Daisy by CTMH

My oldest daughter even had me stamp up a sheet so that she could play with them too. This card desgin was from yesterdays card sketch challenge at SCS. Everything used on the card except for the colonial white cardstock was from a free Basic Grey/Bazzill kit I got at CKC Valley Forge. I just love the colors! You BRIGHTEN my day!

I made this card for a friend of mine who was with me when I got this new Bee Happy stamp by Stampendous. It is a Stampendous Pail Topper. I think it is so cute. The two bees represent her and I. I do not usually use alot of bright colors (it is much brighter in person), so I had fun making this since I used colors I don't use much. I have also never done a tent topper card before and I really liked how it turned out. I got the idea from the SCS 134 Sketch Challenge. You can find the sketch directions at http://www.splitcoaststampers.com/forums/showthread.php?t=271904. The other nice thing about the design of this card is that it fits in a standard size card envelope. The card itself measures 4 1/4 x 5 1/2. I had so much fun with this design that you will probably be seeing more of them. Especially for my next Christmas card post!

Products used:
Cardstock - White Daisy by CTMH, Pink Passion by SU
Patterned Paper - Pastel Playful Paisley by Doodlebug Designs
Stamps - Bee Happy by Stampendous, Sentiment by Verve Visual
Ink - Black by CTMH
Markers - Bubblegum & Citrus Leaf by CTMH
Embellishments - Orange flower by Prima, white brads by CTMH, chipboard sticker by Doodlebug Designs, Sakura Star Dust Glitter Pen
Techniques - Used SU's edge distresser for the pink circle to add texture.
Tools - Coluzzle Circle Cutter

Enjoy!
