More BLOG Candy....

Hi Everyone! I am so sorry I have not posted ANYTHING since Wednesday. Life has been an adjustment since school is out for the summer :-) But I am going into stamping withdrawl...LOL!!! I have had some great new stamps arrive too that I want to get using. So I promise I will be sharing some creations soon!

But until then I am offering some blog candy again. This time what I want you to do is put a comment linked to this post as to what your FAVORITE crafting item is and that you just CAN'T live without it. I have many favorites, but I would have to say that I can't live without my ATG adhesive gun. Thanks to a crafting bud who got me hooked on that :-)

I will be doing the drawing on Monday night (well, actually my hubby & two girls will be doing it for me)! I will pull 3 names again. The grand prize will be a clear stamp set by Studio G along with a card made by me. The 2nd & 3rd prizes will be cards made by me. (When I send you a card I do not write inside so that you can use it how you like and the back is not signed.)

I can't wait to see all of your comments!!! And again, thanks for taking a peek at my blog. You all have been so kind with your comments.

Hi Kim,
I would have to say my favorite tool that I cannot live without is my Xyron 900! I use it for almost any project....even ones with the thickness of coasters :)
The refills are kind of expensive, but they go a surprisingly long way. I have always managed to find them at Michaels at 40% off, or with a coupon. People kid me when I do a demo...they say I should be working for xyron!

I would have to say my favorite tool would be all my alphabet stamps. I use them CONSTANTLY. I absolutely LOVE being able to consistanly create wonderful sayings, titles and journalling! And when I use my acrylic stamps, I can make sure the word fits where I need it to, even in tricky odd spaces!

Other than my Bella's my favorite crafting item is my Cuttlebug. I love it because of the fun, interesting, and different backgrounds and more that you can make with it. http://www.joann.com/joann/catalog.jsp?CATID=cat2732&PRODID=prd51721&source=search

Joanns has them on sale right now!

My favorite tool is the mat pack and paper piercer from SU! :) I love to do faux stitching on my cards. I also use it to pierce holes in punched flowers that are too small for a hand punch.

Oh there are so many things but what comes to mind first and foremost is my Cuttlebug. I have numerous dies and embossing folders(not all Cuttlebug) that I seem to use at least one on all of my projects.

This is such a touch question, although I try to use several different types of media, stamps, stickers, paper, eyelets. After much debate I invested in some punches and now I want to use them all of the time. I still don't know if I like the paper piecing idea, but I am still learning.

My favorite stamping tool is my embossing gun and powders.....I am so hooked on embossing right now and want to emboss everything. I love watching the heat change the powder into a shiny color. Kinda reminds me of my childhood days when we would do shrinky dinks and watch them in the oven.

I can not live without my Close To My Heart cardstock! It is the foundation for everything that I create and because it comes in 60 colors that coordinate with all other CTMH products...how could I go wrong! Ü Love it!

P.S. I got my blog candy package yesterday and I just love the cards you made Kim. They are adorable! Thank you!

I would have to pick the crop-o-dile as my favorite tool because of it's versatility. I used it to add a belt hole so I can use a belt I had sitting around that was too big. I used it to add holes to my SU! ribbon holder so it works better. And, of course, it is great for adding eyelets to projects - from cards, to tins, to clothes!

Jenni said...

I agree with everyone else ... it is very hard to pick just one!! I love my Stampin' Up! CS & stamp sets but as far as something I could not live without ... it would be brads - I am addicted to them!! I try to find a reason to put at least one on most of my projects!!

Well, right now it would have to be my clear stamps or my Crop-a-dile! It is the BEST on making holes in anything and setting eyelets so quitely. I just began using clear stamps and they are so perfect making just about anything easier to stamp!

My fave tool is actually my Stampin' Up markers! I got the whole set when I had a party, and I love them. Both for writing and stamping. All the colors you could need, and easy to store in the case!

Fun to see what everyone else loves!

I can't live without my cricut. My kids got it for me for christmas and I am so addicted to it. I love all the new cartridges they keep coming out with. What I can not understand though is why all the stores aren't carrying any of the new ones that came out in june yet so far. Driving me crazy and forcing me to go to Ebay for them. LOL

I would have to say my favorite tool to use is my cuttlebug and folders. I use them a lot due to my 12 year old daughter saved up her babysitting money and purchased it for me for mothers day. I cried when I opened it. I had been wanting one for a while. We do many projects together with it. I am so blessed with such a special daughter. She is my best tool.

My favorite thing right now is my piercer and mat pack. I find a place to pierce everything!! Either a corner, or a line at the bottom, sometimes with faux stitching and sometimes without. It's subtle, but adds the perfect finishing touch.

I am new to stamping and cardmaking but have been scrapbooking for a while. I would have to say that I love the circle and oval cutters from Creative memories. Hi Kim, I guess I would have to say that my newest favorite would be my cuttlebug and all the diecuts and embossing folders I have collected. Today I went to a rubber and paper show. Lots of rubber but not a whole lot of paper. I did buy some new stuff and was reminded of some of the old stuff I had bought. But they can't replace the cuttlebug yet.

I would have to say that like you, I can't live without my ATG adhesive gun. I also had a friend get me hooked on it. I would sit and watch her whip up cards so quickly using her ATG while I'd be slowly cutting the rolls of double sided tape, then slowly peeling off the backing, etc. She could do three cards to my one. Plus half the time the adhesive wouldn't stick and they'd fall apart. Love Love Love the ATG, that adhesive sticks like crazy.

Anonymous said...

Wow...that's a hard one. I too love my ATG gun. But I think I'm going to have to go with my H2O brush. I love using it to color in my Bellas. It allows you to add so much dimension to your images, and it's easy to use with no mess. My Cuttlebug would have to run a close second. Great question.
